This year's 36th annual VMAs will be held on Monday, August 26 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, beginning at 9 p.m. ET. This will be the first VMAs ceremony ever held in the state–past ceremonies have taken place in New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco will host this year's VMAs.
